Who You Talk To

When you reach out, you end up talking with an independent HVAC provider in our network. These are local businesses, not employees of Fingerscosts Heating & Air. They run their own schedules, set their own prices and do their own work.

What Happens on the Call

Keep it simple. Expect a few questions about your system and the problem. Have this ready:

• What the unit is doing, or not doing
• The age of the equipment, if you know it
• Any past repairs or changes to the house
• Whether it is an AC, a furnace or a full heating and cooling system

What to Ask a Provider

Before you agree to anything, ask plain questions:

• Are you licensed and insured for this work in Louisiana?
• Is there a fee just to come out and look?
• Will I get a written quote before work starts?
• Is repair or replacement the smarter move, and why?
• What happens if you find something unexpected?
• Do you have experience with older homes?

A quote is not a contract. You can say thanks and decide later. You can also get a second opinion. Costs vary by job, so a written quote is the only number that counts.
