How to Raise a Complaint
Last updated: October 2026
Every homeowner who reaches Fingerscosts Heating & Air should get a fair and honest experience. If something went wrong, tell us. This page shows how to file a complaint and what comes next. It is a general template, not legal advice.
What You Can Write to Us About
You can contact us about any of these:
- Your experience when phoning or contacting Fingerscosts Heating & Air
- The way your personal information was handled
- Anything on this site that looks unclear or wrong
- The conduct of a provider we matched you with
If the Problem Is With a Provider
Providers in our network are independent businesses. They answer for their own estimates, pricing, equipment, warranties, work and customer service. If you have trouble with work done in your home, the usual first step is to raise it with the provider directly and keep a written record.
We still want to hear about it. Feedback helps keep our network honest, and providers who repeatedly fall short of what we expect may be removed. Please know that Fingerscosts Heating & Air cannot settle contract disputes, handle warranty claims, refund payment for a provider's work or make decisions for a provider.
Sending Your Complaint
Email contact@fingerscosts.living and include:
- Your name and how to reach you
- The date you contacted us or the provider
- The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
- The provider's name, if you know it
- A clear account of what happened and what outcome you would like
After You Write
We will confirm receipt by email, usually within a few business days. Then we look into what happened, which may include contacting the provider. After that, we reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.
Still Not Happy?
If our answer does not satisfy you, reply and ask us to take another look. You can also reach out to your state consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau. For issues with an HVAC contractor, your state contractor or mechanical licensing board may be able to help too.
